Terms of Use — 法驾通

1. Purpose

The 法驾通 application, published by Djavrok, is a service for preparing for the French theory test (épreuve théorique générale, ETG) of the driving licence, intended primarily for Chinese-speaking learners. It provides practice questions and mock exams consistent with the official framework of the September 2023 ETG reform.

2. Access to the service

Access to the application requires the creation of a user account and a monthly subscription at a price of €4.99 including tax per month. A 7-day free trial is offered to new users when they first register. No payment is taken during the trial period.

3. Educational content

The questions provided are based on the official framework of the French theory test of the driving licence (September 2023 reform). The publisher endeavours to keep the content up to date with the regulations in force. However, it does not guarantee that the information is exhaustive or entirely accurate, and accepts no liability in the event of any discrepancy with the official texts.

4. Liability

The application is a supplementary preparation tool and does not replace training provided by an approved driving school. The publisher cannot be held liable for failure in the driving licence test, nor for any direct or indirect loss resulting from use of the application.

5. Intellectual property

All content in the application — texts, translations, interface, question structure — is the exclusive property of the publisher. Any reproduction, representation, extraction or reuse, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation.

6. Personal data

The data collected (email address, usage statistics) is used solely for the operation of the service. It is not passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. For any request concerning your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us via the contact form.

7. Subscription and cancellation

The monthly subscription is offered at €4.99 including tax and renews automatically each month.

• A 7-day free trial is offered to new users when they first register; no payment is taken during this period.
• The subscription carries no minimum commitment period.
• Purchase and payment are handled by the Apple App Store, which acts as the seller. RevenueCat provides the technical management of the subscription on behalf of the Publisher.
• Cancellation is carried out exclusively in the user's App Store account settings, at any time; it takes effect at the end of the current subscription period.
• The purchase is made with Apple. Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code (code de la consommation), digital content supplied immediately is subject to a specific regime as regards the right of withdrawal. The 7-day free trial allows the service to be evaluated without commitment. Any refund request falls under Apple's procedure and must be addressed directly to the App Store.

8. Changes to the terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change. Continued use of the application after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.

11. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 and L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, a User qualifying as a consumer is entitled to use a consumer mediation service free of charge in order to settle a dispute with the Publisher amicably.

The User must first have sent a written complaint to the Publisher at support@djavrok.com and have received no satisfactory response.

The mediator must be contacted within one year of the written complaint sent to the Publisher. Mediation is free of charge for the User and is not mandatory: the User remains free to bring the matter before the competent court.

12. Prevailing language

These terms of use are drawn up in French, English and Simplified Chinese. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between these versions, only the French version shall prevail.
